Beautiful  Habesha Culture

Geli Art:  Gelila Kahsay is a habeshan self-taught artist and best known for her coffee and acrylic paintings. Gelila found immense pleasure in painting and drawing. She started drawing at the early age and this recreational activity blossomed in to a passionate hobby.

Her biggest inspiration is the greatest art work of God “Nature”. Gelila loves spending time in the nature alone, she admires how God created the mountains, oceans, trees, different animals , the beautiful sky, the wind, rain, the moon, the sun…etc. She paints her everyday feelings, emotions and the life of people around her. Most of her art works are abstract. Being self-taught, this gives her freedom of creativity without boundaries.
